The current portfolio being managed by the JSIF is spread over the 4 active Projects in implementation. Government of Jamaica counterpart contribution, which is required for most of the Projects, amounts to approximately 20% of the budget, while Beneficiary Community Contribution, which includes money and ‘in kind’/sweat equity accounts for approximately 7 – 25%. Loans and grants are negotiated by the Government of Jamaica with international donor partners as applicable.
